All summer Somerset women's skipper will be bringing Cider Press readers the news and views from inside the dressing room. Here is her first column, which covers a winter of much change.
Last summer was a busy one for all of us, and so it was nice to have a good couple of months off at the end.
We probably all needed it, albeit it was a bit weird to go from being incredibly busy throughout to having a couple of months to yourself.
However, we’ve been back in since November and for the first time in a few winters, I haven’t been away at all.
