With Somerset’s Women jetting off to Pretoria today, what better time for Harry Everett to update you on the squad’s winter travels. He even met up with a few of them in Australia in December!
Dani Gibson, who is sure to enjoy a fruitful summer, shared a Melbourne Stars WBBL XI with England teammates Maia Boucher and Amy Jones.
She was used in the middle-order finisher role across November and December, top scoring with 39 in addition to another 30.
She did not bowl in the tournament as the Stars finished fourth and were knocked out by the Scorchers on the 9th December. That enabled her to enjoy a cold Christmas back at home.
