The two head coaches summed it up best after Somerset combined for just one win in four T20 games over the past weekend.
Jason Kerr, head men's coach, described the Sunday 36-run loss to Worcestershire as the "most disappointing performance for a long time." Erin Osborne said after the women's narrow loss to Surrey on Sunday that her team had shot itself in the foot and were about 20 runs too short.
"We are a better team than what we displayed today," she said after the match.
While the men didn't bowl well enough against Worcestershire, according to Kerr, he also said they never really got momentum in their batting either.
