It's been an incredibly busy last several weeks for me what with The Hundred and then straight back into Somerset women's cricket.
First off, I want to say I loved playing in The Hundred. The fact that our team, Trent Rockets, won really was the icing on the cake. There was a lovely feel at Trent Bridge and a feeling that the family values there aligned with mine. It was of course hugely beneficial to me to play alongside genuine superstars in the women's game and there was a great buzz around the group. One area I particularly enjoyed was boundary fielding. I found my love for fielding again and it was nice to be away from the pressures of captaincy.
