No fear in this symmetry

There was quite a bit of similarity between the opening T20 games for Somerset CCC May 22, not least the closeness of the scores in both matches as the teams batting first notched 158 and 159.
But the real symmetry may have come more from the Somerset bowlers as both the men and the women bowled full and straight to change the games around.
First up was Niamh Holland who registered a career best 4-21 in her four overs. Three of her victims were clean bowled as Hampshire, who seemed on course for victory after an impressive opening stand between Georgia Adams and Ella McCaughan, fell away a little to scrape to the tie.
