Line and length

Anyone who's ever bowled at no matter what level knows just how annoying it is to hear the phrase "line and length" when you've been whacked for four after draggging another one down wide of off stump. The good news for the Somerset women is that nobody needs to say it.
In the opening tied game against Hampshire, it was Niamh Holland who picked up four with straight and true bowling. She followed that with two further wickets in the comfortable victory over Warwickshire.
In that latter game, too, Erin Vukusic picked up three wickets and the youngster followed that up in the even more comfortable victory against Yorkshire in Taunton on Wednesday (May 27), bagging two wickets, both of them bowled.
